The Company

As a software and consulting expert, DSC Software AG develops and comes up with innovative solutions and concepts that allow enterprises to use their product information consistently throughout the company. DSC was initially established with a focus on the disciplines of CAD and PDM; SAP PLM was added later. Today, the company employs about 70 staff members. They expeditiously and productively implement the requirements for company-wide integrated information and processes for customers representing a very diverse range of industries.

Strong partnerships, the enterprise’s outstanding awareness of customer needs and more than 25 years of project experience have established DSC as SAP PLM know-how provider who is in very high demand. As a SAP partner, DSC handles the SAP PLM Integration for NX. The Karlsruhe-based business is a founding member of the PLM Alliance, which was established in 2005. It is an association of all SAP development partners for CAD integrations.

DSC’s standard software Engineering Control Center, ECTR, allows users to easily implement customized and SAP PLM based integration solutions. The flexible SAP PLM user interface is a cost effective software solution whose functionalities can be upgraded with numerous expansions. The scope of application of the DSC solutions, which are also based on the standard software concept, comprise various topics – from product development to production planning, document management and technical documentation to plant lifecycle management.

Factory Control Center, FCTR, a new solution now available from DSC, integrates product development and production planning consistently into SAP. With the assistance of FCTR it is now possible to overcome system inconsistencies and different organizational structures between the two corporate divisions. The standard software warrants the controlled flow of data from product development to production planning and vice versa.
