This product, a core component of SAP PLM solution offering, allows for seamless product data management from planning up to manufacturing and offers an intuitive and clear release and change management. It also allows to integrate different authoring systems such as mechanic, electric and electronic CAD. SAP ECTR is also a powerful tool to manage all kind of documents in SAP and link them to business processes. Part of the solution is an interface to Microsoft Office and an interface to SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer.
