DSC registers growing demand in the USA
Siemens PLM Connection 2016 Americas: The Karlsruhe PLM specialists had far more visitors to their stand than in previous years
At this year’s Siemens PLM Connection 2016 Americas, the biggest user conference for Siemens PLM Software, there were more visitors to the DSC stand than ever before. And that on the first day of the event, which ran from May 16 – 19, 2016 in Orlando, Florida: in the Rosen Shingle Creek Conference Center. One reason for the increased interest was certainly the up-to-the-minute topics that DSC was presenting:
- Seamless PLM integration of all kinds of authoring tools
- Direct link from Siemens NX to the SAP system
- Improved document management including visualization
- Easier multi-CAD handling regarding MCAD/ECAD
Practical live demos were presented on the stand to show how easily all this can be implemented by manufacturers of all sectors of industry: with SAP Engineering Control Center and SAP Engineering Control Center interface to NX. Interested visitors were given exciting insights into the possibilities and benefits of integrated product development as well as valuable optimization impulses towards structured document management. The feedback was correspondingly positive, and correspondingly rewarding was DSC’s result of the event. So, seen in conjunction with the rise in the number of visitors, it was all round a very encouraging result for the Karlsruhe company.
The organizers – the PLM World User Group, whose 40th anniversary was this year – also had good reason to celebrate. With 1900 congress participants, the number of visitors was around 15 percent higher than 2015. And according to their own statistics, the number of exhibitors also rose – to around 70. At any rate, this year’s event was booked out.
