Siemens PLM Connection 2015: DSC know-how scores right across the board
Manufacturing companies in the most varied industrial branches catch up on information about options and benefits of innovative PLM integrations at the Karlsruhe software experts stand.
Karlsruhe, May 20, 2015
At Germany’s biggest user conference for PLM software from Siemens, DSC once again had many visitors this year – representatives of the most varied manufacturing industries. Apart from numerous new visitors and potential customers, there were also many well-known existing customers at the exhibition stand: among other things, to find out about solution enhancements. As last year, DSC was again excellently placed: directly next to the Bonhoeffer Hall, in which the important opening keynotes and the evening events were held. The two-day conference – May 5/6, 2015, which traditionally takes place in the Lufthansa Training & Conference Center in Seeheim-Jugenheim, was this year host to about 650 participants.
Integration along the entire value-added chain
As the competent partner for PLM, DSC was able to convince visitors mainly by the comprehensive range of solutions – from engineering to production. The DSC products in greatest demand by the conference participants: the SAP Engineering Control Center integration platform, the SAP Engineering Control Center interface to NX, as well as Factory Control Center – FCTR: with CAM integration, DNC link, as well as tool management and tool logistics. Companies that use SAP thus have all the prerequisites for consistently optimizing their Product Lifecycle Management and, thanks to seamless processes, for making it more secure and more efficient.
Solutions for companies of all branches and sizes
Particularly interesting for manufacturers: thanks to modular standard software, DSC solutions can be implemented according to requirements and cost effectiveness. This means that medium-sized businesses can also exploit PLM potentials to the full. As could be seen at the DSC stand, customers can select from the wide range of basis software and modules entirely according to their requirements. That saves them unnecessary additional costs for over-dimensioned solution packages. Moreover, the selected PLM integration can be adapted to suit the company and the industrial branch – thanks to a large selection of specialized add-ons. These are the result of decades of project experience in the most varied industrial sectors all over the world.
The customers and potential clients who visited DSC in Seeheim were a representative cross-section of the wide branch know-how of the Karlsruhe software house. They were from the following sectors – amongst others: plant construction and mechanical engineering, automation and industrial robotics, automotive and electro-technology, construction machinery and support systems, fixing and fastening technologies, industrial tractors and warehousing technology, construction toys, laboratory and medical technology, lighting and building technology, aerospace, process engineering for textile production.
