The automotive wiring harness division of the Coroplast Group has implemented an integrated PDM solution
When WeWire were about to introduce a PDM/PLM system, Coroplast Group also wanted a customized solution. This was because one of their most important customers had made this a requirement for certification. Coroplast Group used this as an opportunity to push ahead their Digital Transformation, which primarily aims to optimize processes. To do this, they wanted to expand workflow-based business processes using the leading SAP system. It therefore made sense to use SAP PLM, and connect the engineering to the SAP system. As certification was the main issue, this needed to happen quickly.
The standard SAP ECTR solution is flexibly modifiable to meet company requirements, also thanks to optimized add-ons. As a result, DSC could fulfill all of the requirements of Coroplast Group without any additional programming.
