Complete renewal of the integrated engineering environment at DEUTZ

Setting standards and shaping the future – the great aspiration of DEUTZ AG with ongoing innovations and improvements: not only in products and services but also in internal operations. For process optimization, for example, the engine manufacturer has long been using an SAP-integrated engineering environment, implemented at that time by DSC. In the course of planned SAP and NX upgrades, this is now to be completely overhauled. DSC and DEUTZ began the project in early August 2016.
In mid- October 2016, the new solution went into operation on time. Since then, the company’s designers have been working with Siemens NX 10 and using the current SAP ECTR Version 5.1.
