OSG EX-CELL-O GmbH located in Eislingen, South Germany, is part of the Japanese OSG Corporation, one of the world’s leading cutting tool manufacturers. As an expert of forming technologies, EX-CELL-O develops and manufactures cutting-edge, automated CNC cold rolling machines for the massive forming of involute splines, threads, ring / oil grooves, knurls, etc. on rotationally symmetric components. During the SAP ERP / PLM introduction, the medium-sized enterprise also seamlessly integrated their product development with all CAD data and project documents. This was achieved thanks to SAP Engineering Control Center | SAP ECTR with a preconfigured best practice configuration for Industrial Machinery – provided and implemented by DSC Software AG, the developer of SAP ECTR.
