Wacker Neuson trust DSC as their PLM “companion”
Small investment in time, great outcome – Participants enthuse about change management workshop

The collaboration between Wacker Neuson Group and DSC Software AG goes back a long way. Wacker Neuson Group are worldwide leading manufacturers of compact and construction machinery, with more than 50 subsidiaries, and more than 12,000 sales and service partners. Since 2003, NeusonKramer Baumaschinen AG has trusted in DSC’s expertise in the area of PLM. The Wacker Neuson Group, founded after the fusion, continues the trusting relationship right up to today. The joint workshop on the topic of change management proved that this decision was totally right. For the workshop, despite the remote connection, DSC were able to establish the usual degree of familiarity with the company.
Change management is one of the most critical processes, as many engineers spend more time making, and documenting changes, than on newly designing a product. A change also affects many subsequent processes. The challenge in this area is not the IT tools involved, but rather lies in the strategy, and the conceptual approach, making it better to have an experienced partner like DSC on one’s side.
The half-day workshop started with an assessment of the current situation regarding change management at Wacker Neuson. Finally, we discussed the company’s requirements and wishes, and jointly defined the further steps. With a small investment in time, a great outcome was possible, leaving all participants satisfied.
“It has been a very successful half-day with valuable input,” agreed the participants of the Wacker Neuson Group unanimously. “DSC’s specialists have unique expertise, and always give an honest evaluation.” The workshop was very well prepared and presented. “Our wishes were always responded to.” DSC is pleased about the positive feedback, and they are looking forward to the joint steps approaching.
