DSC and JANUS Engineering launch their partnership for CAM and shop floor solutions
Karlsruhe, July 23, 2025 – The companies DSC Software AG and JANUS Engineering AG, both leaders in the development of software solutions in the field of Computer-Aided Manufacturing | CAM and tool management, have established a new strategic partnership. The goal of the collaboration is the joint development and marketing of SAP-supported solutions that enable manufacturing companies to have seamless processes in CAM tool management and production.

Their wish to link this data with the SAP system for enabling seamless end-to-end processes is now fulfilled with our new solution FCTR++TechnologyManagerIntegration by DSC and JANUS Engineering. With the Worker Information System by DSC, employees on the shop floor can access all relevant data in real time – which is one step closer towards a paperless factory. With the JANUS Technology Manager, JANUS Engineering has been providing a powerful solution for the efficient management, provision, and tracking of tool data directly in NX CAM for many years. This creates the foundation for a seamless information flow between NX CAM and SAP via the new product FCTR++TechnologyManagerIntegration.
FCTR++TechnologyManagerIntegration fundamentally improves the tool management in manufacturing companies by providing a central platform for the monitoring and optimization of tool usage and tool maintenance on the shop floor – based on SAP data.
