LINKWAY is a solution that allows AI agents to securely access SAP data. With standardized interfaces, data is not copied but retrieved from the SAP system in real time and becomes usable for AI applications.

Access is granted via a so-called MCP server. This server connects the AI solution with the SAP system, without AI needing direct access to the SAP system. Every access happens in a controlled environment and is role-based.

MCP is short for Model Context Protocol. An MCP server enables the communication between AI agent and SAP system:

  • Transforms data into an AI-ready format
  • Centrally controls access rights
